After exploring Castillo de San Marcos, we sauntered across to the cutest little downtown area of St. Augustine. Our first stop was this truly enchanted garden. Just check out these amazing lanterns and trees!!! I could have stayed here forever. We stayed for a bit walking around, while the kids, including Dallas, played pretend pirates. I just couldn’t stop looking at the lanterns wishing I could do the same in my backyard. 🙂
This picture below is one of my absolute favorites. Kirsten managed to capture our true essence and I will be forever grateful! Never mind the fact that Dallas photobombed it..hahah.
After we took in all this beauty, we walked over to get some lunch, and a scrumptious dessert of ice cream and these amazing mini donuts. Needless to say, the kids were in heaven!
We sat in this little area with a gorgeous fountain and just enjoyed the company of our wonderful friends.
Even though his naps were interrupted, and he was hot and sticky, and kinda hungry, this beautiful little boy couldn’t help but be his usual charming, smiley self. Scroll to see the progression of his heart-melting smile.
I love this boy! After a wonderful day of adventures, we headed back to try and beat the storm that was threatening to break soon. Here is what it looked like as the clouds rolled in, and we rolled out!
