I walked out this morning (a rare thing for me to do in the winter) to check the mail and I came across these beauties right on my front porch. I don’t remember Virginia ever getting so cold in the last five years that it would warrant front porch icicles! Of course, I forgot that I was on my way to the mailbox and ran inside to grab my camera and snap a few quick shots. Thank goodness I did, because no sooner had I taken these pictures, than the sun popped out in all its glory, and everything started to melt.
