On October 3rd, my darling husband celebrated his birthday. Well, actually I did more of the celebrating and he just went to work. 🙂
I guess I like to celebrate birthdays.
The only thing he wanted for his birthday was carrot cake. So, while I was trying to figure out how to make this special for him – since I have made him this exact carrot cake before – I went to my trusty Pinterest and found a gorgeous cake that looked like it was covered in roses.
I mean, it was stunning! I thought to myself, “Now, THAT is special!” So I hurried and learned how to make those roses. It took me a few tries with the different tips and then finally found the right one (Wilton 47), and was very pleased with how they turned out.
