Easter 2016

March 27, 2016
“I know that my Redeemer lives. What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead. He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love. He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed. He lives to bless in time of need.”
~ Samuel Medley, LDS Hymnbook, 1835
The most selfless act performed on this earth, and it was for me. For you. For each of us individually. Christ suffered and died for me. He rose again so that I might have the opportunity to return to live with my Father in Heaven and enjoy those blessings. What a wonderful day to celebrate His unconditional love for us!
This year, I felt extremely grateful for this sweet, little family of mine. We have learned and grown so much. We have welcomed this little baby girl into our lives who has forever changed it.

This handsome, sweet, loving, funny man has definitely changed me for the better.  It is a blessing, indeed, to know that we are a forever family. The Savior’s great sacrifice for us makes this possible and I don’t think I could bear the thought of not being Aaron’s wife or Gracie’s mum. 🙂

“Look, Mum, it’s an airplane!” Always fascinated by things in the sky – birds, airplanes, helicopters. Life is fun. Almost two and all that hair! Those curls are au naturel and the reason I have not yet cut her hair.

Daddy’s little girl, for sure. She absolutely adores him. We play together all day and she has some fun moments but when her Daddy walks in the door, she screams out of sheer excitement, runs to him, and wants him to chase her around the house. It is a welcome fit for a king. Aaron loves every minute of it!

A rare moment when Grace and I are in a picture together. This little doll has my heart. She occupies my every thought.  If the Savior gave His life for me, so I could have all these blessings right now, I can do better and be better and give Him thanks every day of my life.
Happy Easter, everyone!
