Flight Trampoline Shenanigans
“Watch the sunrise at least once a year, put a lot of marshmallows in your hot chocolate, lie on your back and look at the stars, never buy a coffee table you can't put your feet on, never pass up a chance to jump on a trampoline, don't overlook life's small joys while searching for the big ones.”
On the morning of my birthday, Gracie and I got dressed and made our way to a really fun place - Flight Trampoline. Since Gracie loves to jump up and down on our bed, I figured it was time to introduce her to trampolines :) As long as they were in someone else's backyard, so to speak. This place was awesome!
You sign a waiver, enter your name, including your child's name, pay for an hour or so, get some special socks to wear, and off you go! We were meeting one of my good friends, Chelsea, and her two kids at this place. As you can see, Gracie needed no encouragement. Socks were on and she was off to explore all the bounciest things she could find.
That is the face of a toddler in trampoline heaven. What you can see of her face.
When did she get so big???
Here she is in the sponge pit, trying hard to take off her socks. If only she realized that they would be coming off more often than she wanted them to the longer she stayed in that pit. I had to keep putting them back on.
Grace and Leilani just loving their time together.
Kai - Leilani's little brother - loving his sister. Those are looks of sheer joy and laughter on those two faces.
This is my beautiful friend, Chelsea, and her gorgeous babies - Leilani and Kai. Chelsea is a sweetheart and we have been friends since we first moved to Virginia, when neither of us had any babies. We did lots of things together and always had a blast! Having our kids with us didn't quite change the dynamic just that both of us wished we had several more pairs of hands and eyes. Hahah. It was lovely to see her and spend my birthday morning catching up!
If everyone made friends as easily as little kids do, the world would be a better place.
